Formed in 1924 by a small band of local men collected from the business, industrial, academic and ordinary life of Pontardawe; these men were intrepid enough to set the game of golf on its way in the locality.

In the following 94 years we have moved on from the original 9 holes, to the current 18 hole layout you will find today. Finally completed in 1968, the opening being marked by a round played by Professional Brian Huggett.

Over this period many improvements have been made, such as a new lake by the 5th hole through to the extended & refurbished clubhouse & impressive practice facilities.

With many social events at the club, from regular shows, quiz nights & charity evenings, there always something for everyone to be involved in.

All this and being situated in one of the most scenic areas of South Wales, we are sure your visit will be most enjoyable.
