Opened in 1889, Epsom Golf Club is a stones throw away from Epsom Downs Racecourse and Epsom Downs train station.
It’s an undulating terrain parkland course that rolls downhill.
The immaculate greens are something that need to be experienced by all golfers as they’re consistent and true, and offer a demanding test because of the mixture of surprising speed and undulation..
Here at Epsom we offer a wide range of Society packages, ranging from bacon rolls with coffee and 18 holes of golf on our unique panoramic course, to golf followed by a freshly cooked 2 course meal served in one of our function rooms overlooking the 18th fairway. Societies are welcome at the Club during the week and are also very popular at weekends. The details of our Society packages can be found on our website, however Epsom are very flexible and can tailor the day to your individual requirements, making the event an enjoyable and successful one.
The Professional Team are an extremely important part of the Club at Epsom, warmly welcoming golfers on arrival and providing excellent customer service. Whether it’s checking in before playing, booking a tee time, making a society booking, buying new equipment, needing a repair or booking golf lessons, the Pro Shop is the place to come. It is staffed by Epsom’s Director of Golf Stuart Walker and the Pro Shop Team.
Epsom’s was the first purpose built Clubhouse in Surrey, completed in 1893, only 4 years after the Club was founded, and remains as an architectural icon to this day, albeit with a number of improvements and extensions. Typical of the recreational trends of ‘gentlemen’ in the Edwardian period, an extension was built to house the snooker table.
