Chiltern Forest Golf Club is situated by Wendover Woods on the north edge of the Chiltern Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Golf was first played here over 100 years ago, when most of the Halton area was owned by the Rothschild banking dynasty.
The holes spread across the hills and vales, threading through the trees, each one a unique experience.
Chiltern Forest Golf Club has some of the best golf club facilities in Buckinghamshire.
Unlike most other local courses, Chiltern Forest Golf Club stands out with its rises and falls across the hill meaning every hole is different and makes you think about your shot. The golf course is set away from roads and other distractions, meaning this golf course is an oasis of tranquility and calm to further enhance your golfing experience.
You will find a fully equipped Golf Shop which is operated by Chiltern Forest Golf Club in association with Alistair Halliday and Dynamic Driving Range for all your coaching and clubfitting needs. A full and comprehensive service is available, from fully fitted golf clubs, club repairs, golfing accessories and equipment from many leading manufactures. The golf shop and golf course opens between 7am and 6pm in the summer and between 7.30 am and 4pm in the winter.
Danielle MacLaughlin is Head of Catering in our restaurant and bar, which is well stocked with a wide range of beverages to suit all tastes.
There are real ales from Tring Brewery plus guest ales, leading lagers and an extensive wine list. For those who prefer something a little less intoxicating, soft drinks and hot beverages are also available.
The snack menu provides a wide range of freshly made sandwiches, baguettes and lite bites. For those requiring a more substantial meal there is also a good variety of choice on our bar menu.
And a new addition to the menu is Afternoon Tea!
