Welcome to Llanymynech Golf Club where we pride ourselves in offering a unique and excellent golfing experience for both members and visitors to our course.

The 18-hole course at Llanymynech Golf Club is a true gem, providing golfers with a rare opportunity to play across both England and Wales within a single round. You Tee off in Wales on the 4th hole and putt out in England.  Returning back into Wales on the 7th hole.  It is also famous for being the course where Ian Woosnams started his legendary playing career.

The golf course is a site of special scientific interest and has distinctive breath-taking views of the Shropshire plain and Welsh hills. With the famous “Offas Dyke” cutting through parts of the golf course.  The course is quite technical, offering various terrains, including hilltop, parkland, and woodland, which demands strategic and precision play from golfers.

The club hosts a number of Men’s, Ladies, and Senior’s Open competitions throughout the year,  which can be easily booked on their website.  If you are interested in a Society booking, please contact Tom.  The packages are available for groups of 12 or more. Typically they include rounds of golf and dining options.
