A lot of the music was a little too slow or didn't really fit that scene of the movie. Kurt Russell was the chief reason I saw writer/director Dan Handfield's fantasy football epic "Touchback," and I can understand why Russell wanted to appear in this movie. This all took place in 1991. I liked all the characters. Football is a large part of the movie but it is not a "Football" movie. I like that fact the movie brings up a question. Overall I feel this movie was a great movie to watch and I would recommend it to anyone. She has a very good positive attitude in most of the movies she's in and she is very pretty and I think she could have played this part off very well! It's easy to see why this indie masterpiece should have garnered only about a 6.0 rating (from 1,425 IMDb viewers, as I write). Touchback may accurately be called cornball hokum by some, but it's nevertheless a well-made film filled with heart and soul (and Snake Plissken). I wasn't at all turned on by the trailer, but went with my wife to a screening here near Cleveland because it was free and I will see anything football. The Cold water football team was very influential on Scott. He wanted to help his mom and give her money so she wouldn't have to work as much as she was. It has a very good life lesson.
